intermediate/advanced class is for students with at least one year of steady yoga practice. all classes are taught in the vinyasa format, emphasizing using the breath to link asana to asana.

basics is for anyone who is new to yoga or has not practiced on a regular basis for at least six months. poses are introduced and explored in a slow vinyasa format.

slow int/restorative 45 minutes of heating vinyasa practice, followed by 45 minutes of relaxing, calming and rejuvinating restorative postures.

led ashtanga full primary series (advanced level)is a class for advanced students. students should have at least six months of experience in the intermediate/advance class before taking this rigorous class. students are led through the entire primary series according to the methods of ashtanga master sri k. pattabhi jois. (see ashtanga for information on mysore ashtanga)

led ashtanga 1/2 primary series (beg/int level) is for those interested in learning what ashtanga is and how it differs from other vinyasa classes. it is also for those familiar with the series but who haven't completed it. in this class we will go through the sun salutations, standing sequence and many of the seated poses that make up the primary series. this class will also include finishing postures. it is open to all levels, although some yoga experience is helpful. mysore ashtanga is a set sequence of postures practiced in a quiet room with personal attention from the teacher. for more information, see ashtanga.

anusara-inspired yoga focuses on alignment in the context of a vinyasa class. anusara's "universal principles of alignment™" enhance poses and help heal injuries. this class is for those who want to bring a renewed clarity and a dynamic alignment into their practice. the alignment principles offer greater access to deepening your experience of the poses and bring balance by engaging some often overlooked and under-used areas of the body. this cultivates greater stability and freedom in the body, mind and heart

community class is an int/adv class for students who are unable to pay full price. class price is $5.

hiv/hepatitis c/autoimmune disorder restorative class is a gentle class that focuses on breathing, meditation and restorative poses to provide physical, emotional, mental and spiritual benefits by reducing stress. movement is linked to the breath cultivating a fluid meditative state. restorative poses with the body supported by props and held for extended periods of time release tension and tightness allowing the body and mind to heal and renew. the therapeutic aspects of yoga include enhanced energy and strength along with increased stamina and flexibility. this class encourages students living with autoimmune disorders to work within their own needs and level. no previous experience necessary. no charge or you may offer a donation.

classes are 1 hour 30 minutes except int/adv/restorative, which is one hour 45 minutes.
